CAR PRIME – Limited Warranty for Used Vehicles

Warranty Coverage

This Limited Warranty provides protection for key mechanical and electrical components of your vehicle, as detailed below. Covered components include, but are not limited to, the following:

Engine

Coverage includes the cylinder block, cylinder heads and internal components; crankshaft and camshaft bearings; connecting rods and pistons; valve train components; timing gears, chain or belt, and timing cover; oil pump and housing; intake and exhaust manifolds; flywheel; water pump; harmonic balancer; valve covers; oil pan; engine mounts; and turbocharger or supercharger housings with internal parts.

Fuel Delivery System

Includes the fuel pump, EFI sensors and control units, fuel pressure regulators, fuel sending unit, and diesel injection pump.

Transmission / Transaxle / Transfer Case

Covers the transmission case and internal components; input/output shafts; clutches; bands; governor; thrust bearings and washers; torque converter; modulator; mounts; solenoid pack; electronic control unit; and oil pan.

Front-Wheel Drive System

Includes the final drive housing and internal components; axle shafts and bearings; CV joints; differential; and housing.

Rear-Wheel Drive System

Coverage includes axle shafts and bearings; drive axle housing and internal components; side and pinion gears; limited-slip components; propeller shafts; universal joints; center support bearings; and yokes.

Brake System

Includes the master cylinder, brake booster, wheel cylinders, and disc brake calipers.

Electrical System

Covers the starter motor and solenoid, alternator or generator, voltage regulator, wiper motors, ignition switch and lock cylinder, ignition control module, distributor, and emergency flasher switch.

Air Conditioning System (Factory-Installed)

Includes the compressor, clutch and bearing, condenser, evaporator, accumulator, receiver-drier, system switches, and the programmer.

Eligibility

Coverage applies only to vehicles 10 model years old or newer with odometer readings between 0 and 100,000 miles at the time of purchase.

Exclusions from Coverage

This Limited Warranty does not cover:

• Routine maintenance and wear items (oil changes, filters, wiper blades, brake pads, belts, tires, bulbs, etc.)
• Damage from accidents, misuse, neglect, poor maintenance, unauthorized repairs, or modifications
• Costs for towing, rentals, lodging, or alternate transportation
• Vehicles used for commercial, ride-sharing, delivery, racing, off-road, or other non-standard purposes
• Indirect or consequential damages from failure of a covered part
• Damage from natural disasters, fire, theft, vandalism, or similar events

Duration of Coverage

This Limited Warranty is valid for 18 months from the purchase date or 18,000 miles, whichever occurs first. Coverage applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.

Filing a Warranty Claim

To initiate a claim, you must contact CAR PRIME directly. The vehicle must be inspected at an authorized service center designated by CAR PRIME. Repairs must be performed by certified or approved technicians. Unauthorized repairs or modifications void the warranty.

Out-of-State Buyers

CAR PRIME collaborates with official dealers and authorized repair facilities to service out-of-state customers. If a covered component fails within 18 months or 18,000 miles, CAR PRIME pays repair costs only when performed by official dealers of the vehicle’s manufacturer.

Repairs by non-authorized providers are not covered.

Limitation of Liability

The responsibility of CAR PRIME is limited solely to repair or replacement of defective covered parts. CAR PRIME is not liable for incidental, consequential, or indirect damages, including loss of vehicle use.

18-Day Trial Period

The purchaser is granted an 18-day trial period from the date of purchase or delivery. The vehicle may be returned within this period if it remains in the same condition. Excessive mileage or damage may result in deductions. All return requests must be initiated within the 18-day period by contacting CAR PRIME customer service.

Acknowledgment

This Limited Warranty is provided alongside rights established under applicable consumer protection laws. By signing the purchase agreement, the purchaser confirms they have reviewed and accepted these warranty terms.
